"I was born in Ibiza, Spain, in 1996, and have been coming to Tarifa for as long as I can remember.
I grew up in a family that loved water sports and was lucky enough to be introduced to Kitesurfing by my Dad at the age of eight.  From that day on, there was no looking back, kitesurfing became my life.

A childhood obsession quickly became my life’s journey. Over the years, I’ve been fortunate enough to turn my passion into my career, compete around the world, and collect more trophies than I ever imagined - eventually achieving my ultimate dream of becoming a World Champion.

Kitesurfing has given me everything so I wanted to create something that truly represents my love for the sport — a place where people can learn, progress, connect and feel inspired by water sports just as I have.

That’s why I created Liam Whaley Pro Center here in Tarifa, the kitesurfing capital of Europe and one of the most iconic spots in the world.
My goal is to share the knowledge, energy, and passion that changed my life, and make sure everyone who visits leaves with new skills and unforgettable memories on the water."
